The Australian Botanic Garden provides a number of experiences for visitors including retail shopping at the Visitor Centre and dining at Melaleuca House.
Located in the heart of the Garden, the Visitor Centre has a unique range of products including Australian bush food, skincare, Australian designed giftware, plants for your own garden and more.
It is a must for those travelling overseas looking for Australian gifts, or those travelling to Australia looking for a momento to take home.
The Visitor Centre is now open daily 9.30am-4pm. Please be sure to observe the capacity requirements for the area and social distancing. The Visitor Centre will be closed to public walk-ins, but enquiries can still be made by phone or online
Something to eat or drink on your visit
The former Melaleuca House Café / Restaurant, next to the Visitor Centre, is closed for an extended period of time, whilst building repair and maintenance works are carried out and a tender is completed to engage a new tenant.
During this period, light refreshments including take-away food and beverages will continue to be available nearby.
You can still visit the heart of the Australian Botanic Garden, meet up with friends (observing appropriate social and physical distancing requirements) and relax with a great coffee and much more, as you explore the Garden.
