Hidden Gems Bushwalk
Did you know that the Australian Botanic Garden hides a dormant volcanic diatreme (or volcanic plug)? Until recently, it has been hidden under a canopy of olive. The Garden is filled with hidden gems, not often visited or seen by the public.
Few visitors go to the top of the Mount Annan ‘summit’, or have visited the Stolen Generations Memorial. You are invited to explore these hard-to-reach areas with John Siemon, Curator Manager of the Australian Botanic Garden. John and the Horticultural staff will take guests on an exciting walking tour that will involve rocky terrain and several steps. You won’t be disappointed by the stunning vistas!
