The Science of Stick Engineering
STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths) is an essential part of children’s learning to help them become creative and innovative leaders of our future. In this brand new program, kids will work in teams to solve engineering challenges using only sticks! Who can build the tallest tower? Can you make a floating raft? Join us and find out! This program is suitable for ages 5-12 years.
When: Mon 9th July 10-12pm; Tue 10th July 1-3pm
Where: The Bowden Centre, Australian Botanic Garden
Age: Suitable for children 5-12 years old only
Price: $22 per child | foundation& friends members $20 per child
Bookings essential online. Limited places available.
Special notes: This program will go ahead in wet weather, it will only be cancelled in extreme weather conditions. Children must wear enclosed shoes and bring a hat, sunscreen and water bottle.
If you book the corresponding program on the day, our educators will look after your child over lunch. BYO lunch
