COVID-19 Update

Update as at Wednesday 25 March 2020.

Safeguarding the health and safety of our visitors and staff is core to what we do at Botanic Gardens and Centennial Parklands. We are closely monitoring and responding to Government health advice in this rapidly changing environment and putting in place measures to protect our community during these challenging times.

Our Botanic Gardens and Parklands continue to remain open to the public at this time, unless advised otherwise. However we urge visitors to ensure they comply with all social distancing requirements in line with the latest NSW Health advice. Activities and events suspended:

  • No outdoor or indoor event bookings will go ahead which are prohibited under current Government requirements.

  • School excursions will not go ahead, in line with NSW Education advice. Please contact your school directly for any advice on school excursions.

  • On-site education programs have been suspended.

  • Tours and community events will not go ahead.

  • All volunteer activities are suspended.

  • ​​Plant sales across the Botanic Gardens and Centennial Parklands have been suspended.
